Volunteering
It is clearly important for people to understand about their medicines
and be able to take them safely.
Therefore the information provided with a medicine should be clear and easy to follow. SimPILy Read Ltd. tests the readability of medicines leaflets on members of the public to ensure they are clear and easily understood.
What does the testing involve?
Participating in leaflet testing is NOT:
- a test of you or your ability to read
- a memory test.
The testing involves:
- Reading the patient information leaflet provided
- Completing a questionnaire during a face to face meeting with one of our team. The meetings are informal and friendly and take about 30-45 minutes.
